Robert Mazuelos serves as a portfolio manager and analyst at Mercator and is responsible for Latin America and eastern Europe. Prior to joining Mercator in 2008, he served as a Senior Vice President, portfolio manager and analyst at Hansberger Global Investors in Fort Lauderdale from 1995 to 2008. While managing $1.3 billion in assets, his research responsibilities included global sector and geographic coverage, with special emphasis on Latin America. Prior to Hansberger, Robert was a performance analyst at Templeton Investment Counsel in Fort Lauderdale from 1991 to 1995. Robert completed his MBA at Florida Atlantic University and earned a BS degree from the University of Florida. He is also a member of the CFA Society of South Florida.
